Square Enix is seeking a Director of Performance Optimization to lead paid media, CRM, and digital analytics initiatives for SE West in El Segundo, CA. The role drives profitability and brand success across pre-, launch, and post-launch cycles.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in performance marketing, preferably in gaming/entertainment
• 5+ years leading multi-person teams
• Experience in comms/channel planning within a media agency
• Strong analytical skills for data-driven optimization
• Familiar with Google Analytics, AdWords, social platforms
• Experience with A/B testing for website and e-store

Responsibilities

• Consult with Market Development, Digital Sales and e-store to define and analyze commercial opportunities
• Oversee paid media plan development for each release, media mix and audience
• Lead product media strategy and budget breakdown by territory and channels
• Manage post-launch campaigns and optimize/budget reallocation
• Oversee digital analytics for Final Fantasy XIV and HD game segments
• Lead and mentor the CRM team to improve reach and effectiveness
• Provide guidance and professional development to the Performance Optimization team
