ON.energy is setting the standard for large load interconnection with its AI UPS™. We are seeking a seasoned leader to head Systems Engineering, shaping architecture, requirements, and verification across grid-scale energy storage and UPS products.

The role drives cross-functional collaboration with sales, project engineering, and product management, delivering robust, field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred.
• 12+ years in complex power, energy, industrial, or electromechanical product development.
• Experience leading Systems Engineers or multidisciplinary teams, including hiring and performance management.
• Direct experience with grid-scale BESS, power conversion systems, UPS, or adjacent power hardware.
• Strong command of requirements engineering, architecture, interface control, risk, verification, and design governance.

Responsabilités

• Lead ON.energy’s Systems Engineering team and translate product strategy into verifiable system solutions.
• Establish governance across architecture, requirements, interfaces, risk, verification, and design transfer.
• Build capability and ownership for grid-scale energy storage, power conversion, UPS, and power quality products.
• Lead, coach, and develop systems engineers and manage workload across programs.
• Interface with sales, project engineering, and product management to align engineering with business goals.
• Define lifecycle processes from concept to field deployment including verification planning and qualification.
