Job summary

ON.energy is seeking a Director of Advanced Solutions Engineering to lead integration of advanced power technologies across microgrids, testbeds, and complex deployments. You’ll establish an execution-focused R&D vertical linking product development, controls, power systems, commissioning, and suppliers.

You will supervise a team of senior engineers, own technical ownership and risk management, and travel as needed to labs, facilities, and customer sites while ensuring alignment with ON.energy's

Qualifications

• B.S. in EE or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 7+ years in power systems, microgrids, energy storage, or complex integration.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration and validation of advanced power tech across microgrids and deployments.
• Own execution of high-complexity programs and first-of-kind applications.
• Direct testing, validation, and evidence-based recommendations to partners.
