Luck Companies is seeking a Director of Greenfield & Community Development to drive growth strategy by leading cross-functional teams and coordinating site evaluation, due diligence, and permitting. The role focuses on aligning technical findings with community engagement and business goals to support long-term expansion.

The position requires extensive leadership experience in land development, stakeholder management, and regulatory navigation, with up to 30% travel and an on-site work

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree; Advanced Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Fields of study include Engineering, Planning, Public Affairs, Environmental Science, Geology, Construction Management, Real Estate Development, Business or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in land development, community engagement, economic development, real estate, engineering, planning, permitting, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team focused on site identification, evaluation, and prioritization activities.
• Direct teams for due diligence including geological, environmental, engineering, land use, and permitting assessments.
• Develop recommendations that support investment decisions, permitting strategy, and project advancement.
• Build team capability through coaching, guidance, and clear accountability for project outcomes.
