Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a Director of Donor Relations to lead the Foundation Hospitality Services program for donors and patients across our hospitals in the Clearwater area. You will cultivate relationships, coordinate outreach, and support a robust grateful patient fundraising pipeline in collaboration with the Foundation and care teams.

The role requires navigating HIPAA regulations, ensuring compliant donor interactions, and fostering meaningful stewardship with donors and families

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years experience in nonprofit fundraising/donor relations.
• Experience in healthcare philanthropy preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Foundation Hospitality Services program and donor notifications for patients and donors.
• Ensure complete hospitality forms are collected and processed accurately.
• Conduct donor outreach via phone calls and in-person visits to cultivate relationships.
• Collaborate with hospital care teams and Development staff to identify, cultivate, and steward grateful patients and families.
• Build and maintain a grateful patient fundraising pipeline and opportunities for charitable giving.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and Foundation policies when handling patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
