Job summary

AS Beauty is seeking a Director of Sourcing to own end-to-end cost strategy across the brand portfolio, ensuring products meet target margins from concept to production. You will negotiate with global partners, manage packaging and component costs, and drive continuous cost-savings without compromising quality.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in sourcing, production, procurement, or supply chain management within beauty, cosmetics, or personal care.
• Sourcing experience across color cosmetics, skincare, bath & body, accessories, and packaging.
• Strong cost negotiation, pricing strategy, COGS management, and margin optimization.
• Established relationships with domestic and international manufacturing partners, especially in Asia.
• Experience leading and developing a sourcing/packaging team.

Responsibilities

• Own sourcing strategy and costing accuracy for new launches and existing updates.
• Lead negotiations with domestic and international manufacturing partners on unit costs and terms.
• Source packaging across product categories meeting cost, quality, and timing needs.
• Prepare cost comparisons and BFAs to guide vendor selections.
• Onboard new suppliers and build long-term vendor partnerships.
• Lead vendor contracts, monitor performance, and manage escalations.
• Mentor the Project Manager to meet milestones across launches.
• Support cost reviews, margin analysis, and forecasting with Finance.
• Continuously assess suppliers for cost, quality, and supply-chain resilience.
