The position requires extensive cost engineering and procurement experience in the CPG sector, with leadership responsibilities and international travel.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of cost engineering and procurement experience in the CPG industry.
• 10+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in strategic sourcing and cost optimization.
• Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills with executive influence.
• Proven project management experience including cross-functional collaboration, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience negotiating with international suppliers and willing to travel internationally 20%+.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing and product costing strategies to achieve cost-reduction targets and financial goals.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, and vendor relationship management, ensuring competitive pricing, quality, capacity, and delivery.
• Oversee cost modeling, should-cost analysis, commodity cost tracking, and material cost databases to identify savings opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost-control initiatives in partnership with manufacturing facilities and cross-functional teams.
• Manage sourcing and costing budgets while mentoring, developing, and leading the sourcing team.
