The Director translates strategic vision into execution, driving access, quality, scale, sustainability, and health outcomes, while shaping workforce development and program governance.

Qualifications

• MD required; board-certified preferred.
• Proven track record leading large multinational programs.

Responsibilities

• Direct implementation of the sickle cell initiative across participating countries.
• Coordinate stakeholder mobilization, workforce development, and M&E.
• Align activities with national health policies and health systems.
• Oversee program quality, learning, and impact.
