Job summary

Child Mind Institute in New York, NY is seeking a Director of Research Implementation to oversee the Global Center’s portfolio of randomized trials and implementation studies across countries. The role reports to the VP of Epidemiology & Evidence-Based Interventions and requires building partnerships with governments, academic institutions, and healthcare systems.

Qualifications

• PhD in public health, epidemiology, psychology, behavioral or social sciences with 10+ years in global senior roles.
• Experience leading multi-site research with international partners and RCTs.
• Demonstrated organizational, leadership and multidisciplinary team skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects in fast-paced environments.
• Understanding of project finances and organizational management.
• Ability to build productive relationships across diverse cultures.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior oversight of complex research initiatives, ensuring studies are executed effectively, on time and within budgets.
• Lead scientific and operational oversight of RCTs, implementation science studies across multiple countries.
• Monitor implementation risks, dependencies and timelines; develop mitigation strategies.
• Directly manage large-scale research projects, including planning, budgeting, staffing and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with research institutions and government/healthcare partners.
• Provide expert guidance for study start-up, regulatory requirements and data quality.
• Coordinate across vendors, investigators, teams, and leadership to resolve project issues.
• Ensure compliance with protocols, ethics and data standards across projects.
