Job summary

Novotech seeks a Director of Operational Strategy for Spectrum Therapeutics (US/EU) to lead a high-caliber team and guide strategic execution across non-oncology indications. The role partners with senior leaders to shape proposal strategies, budgets, and execution plans in a global CRO setting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in clinical research operations or related fields.
• Experience leading managers and building teams.
• Experience shaping strategic direction and operating models.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership and lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Clinical Research, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in CRO/sponsor healthcare environments.
• Experience supporting clinical trial proposals across CNS/metabolic/respiratory/rare diseases.
• People leadership experience including coaching and performance management.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience across global, matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Operational Strategy team.
• Provide coaching on proposal strategy, planning, sponsor engagement, and bid defense.
• Prioritize opportunities based on strategic alignment and feasibility.
• Oversee operational strategies, study execution plans, and proposal recommendations.
• Review budget assumptions, resource models, and country strategies.
• Establish standards, templates, and best practices for operational strategy.
• Champion use of feasibility, benchmarking, and market intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to align strategies with business objectives.
• Facilitate resolution of cross-functional issues in proposal development.
