This role leads HR Shared Services, HR technology, people analytics, governance, and operational compliance across manufacturing and corporate environments. You will partner closely with HR leadership, IT, Finance, and business leaders to drive operational excellence, digital transformation, data-driven decision-making, and risk mitigation. This role ensures HR operations are standardized, scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise strategy.

Essential Functions:

Strategic Leadership & Transformation

  • Establishes governance frameworks that ensure sustainable, scalable, and risk-mitigated HR operations.

HR Shared Services & Service Delivery

  • Leads and continuously improves a global HR Shared Services function supporting employees, managers, and HR partners across manufacturing plants and corporate functions, balancing standardization with regional flexibility and business-specific needs.
  • Standardizes and optimizes global HR processes across the employee lifecycle (hire-to-retire).
  • Defines, measures, and optimizes SLAs, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive superior service delivery, data accuracy, and operational excellence.
  • Designs scalable service models, escalation frameworks, and knowledge management structures.
  • Provides implementation guidance and consultative support to leadership on HR policies, procedures, regulatory requirements, and operational standards.
  • Serves as business product owner for HR technology, partnering with IT to shape and execute the technology roadmap in alignment with HR leadership and enterprise strategy.
  • Serves as the business product owner for HR systems, including HCM, time and attendance, recruiting, learning platforms, performance management, and digital service tools.
  • Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to apply digital tools — ticketing, knowledge platforms, AI-enabled tools, automation, and chatbots — in partnership with IT, to improve efficiency, scalability, and service quality.
  • Co-owns system implementations, integrations, and upgrades in partnership with IT delivery; co-govern technology vendor relationships through HR business ownership and IT vendor management.
  • Drives digitization and automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve cycle times, and enhance data integrity.

People Data & Analytics

  • Builds and leads a global people analytics function delivering actionable insights to HR and business leaders.
  • Defines enterprise workforce metrics, dashboards, and reporting aligned to strategic priorities such as labor cost optimization, productivity, retention, and talent planning.
  • Translates workforce data into strategic insights that inform executive decision-making.
  • Partners with enterprise data governance to establish HR data standards aligned to enterprise definitions, lineage, and access patterns; ensures HR-specific data quality, consistency, accuracy, and completeness for global reporting integrity.

Governance, Compliance & Risk Management

  • Serves as a subject matter expert on local, state, federal, and international employment laws and regulatory requirements. Partners with legal counsel to maintain compliant global HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensures operational compliance across all HR systems and processes, maintaining audit readiness and strong internal controls.
  • Oversees documentation standards, risk mitigation practices, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Supports employee relations matters from an operational and compliance perspective.

Leadership & Organizational Impact

  • Leads, develops, and engages a high-performing HR Operations and Technology team.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and customer focus, and operational excellence.
  • Builds strong partnerships with HR leadership, Centers of Excellence, IT, Finance, and business leaders.
