Job summary

Regal Rexnord Corp in the United States is seeking a Director of Government Affairs to advance the company’s advocacy strategy across federal and state governments. You will report to the VP and serve as a strategic advisor helping shape policy with policymakers, agencies, trade associations, and stakeholders.

The role requires building bipartisan relationships, coordinating internal and external lobbying efforts, and delivering executive updates on regulatory developments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in political science or public policy; Master’s preferred.
• Experience in government affairs, regulatory compliance or public policy (10+ years).
• Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report on legislative and regulatory developments affecting the enterprise.
• Represent the company in coalitions, trade associations and advocacy forums.
• Engage with government officials and stakeholders to support policy priorities.
• Build bipartisan relationships with congressional offices and relevant committees.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory proposals from multiple agencies and agencies abroad.
• Partner with internal teams to identify policy risks and opportunities.
