Job summary

The Hershey Company is seeking a Director of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) Compliance to lead Hershey’s enterprise-wide packaging EPR strategy and regulatory readiness. This role chairs the EPR Steering Group and partners across Government Relations, Legal, Sustainability, Packaging, Finance, and Supply Chain to drive compliant, data-driven decisions.

You will manage US/Canada registrations, reporting, and budgets, while coordinating with PROs and external stakeholders to advance

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in packaging compliance, regulatory affairs, sustainability, or related field.
• Deep knowledge of US/Canada packaging EPR frameworks and reporting.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide packaging EPR strategy, governance, and compliance roadmap.
• Lead the EPR Steering Group and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Direct U.S. and Canadian plastics, packaging, and EPR registrations, reporting, and audits.
• Oversight of EPR Coordinator and liaison with PROs and external stakeholders.
• Develop data governance, reporting capabilities, and collaboration with IS/ESG teams.
