Job summary

CoreWeave is seeking an accomplished Director of Data Center Engineering to lead a multidisciplinary team and set the technical direction for its global data center portfolio. You will govern Basis of Design, drive roadmaps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-density infrastructure.

You will act as the senior technical authority, guiding engineering decisions, improving reliability and efficiency, and coordinating with Operations, Commissioning, and Supply

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 15+ years in data center engineering, infrastructure design, construction, commissioning, or operations.
• 8+ years in engineering leadership or people management.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, civil, architectural, plumbing, controls, life-safety.
• Proven ability to develop and govern Basis of Design documents and long-term infrastructure roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary engineering team across multiple disciplines.
• Set the technical vision and engineering strategy for CoreWeave’s global data center portfolio.
• Govern Basis of Design and reference designs to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain a long-term design roadmap for future data centers with capacity and technology planning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering with Design Management, Data Center Technology, Capacity, Construction, and Commissioning.
• Serve as the senior escalation point for complex engineering decisions and provide clear options to leadership.
• Drive reliability, efficiency, sustainability, and lifecycle improvements in infrastructure.
