Job summary

CoreWeave seeks a Director of Design Management to lead a team of Design Managers across its data center portfolio. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design activities, establish governance, and ensure constructible, compliant designs aligned with portfolio goals.

You will partner with Engineering, Technology, Construction, and Operations leaders to manage scope, budget, and schedules, while guiding risk resolution and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Architectural or related engineering discipline; PE/RA a plus.
• 15+ years in data center design, engineering, design management, construction, or project delivery, including 5+ years in leadership.
• Subject matter expertise in data center design project management and multi-project oversight.
• Excellent people-leadership, communication, and ability to translate complex issues into business impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Design Managers and set clear expectations.
• Oversee design delivery across a portfolio of data center projects.
• Establish design management processes, milestones, and escalation paths.
• Manage resources and assign projects by complexity and priority.
• Oversee consultant performance and adherence to contracts and budgets.
• Provide executive-level reporting on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Ensure compliance with CoreWeave design guidelines and standards.
• Coordinate with Construction, Finance, and Operations on schedules and budgets.
• Drive continuous improvement in design workflows and gate processes.
• Support through construction and commissioning with RFIs and submittals.
