Job summary

Cyncly, a global technology leader with 2,400+ employees and 70,000+ customers, is seeking a Director - Security to define and execute its worldwide cyber security strategy, data protection program, and information security posture.

Reporting to the Head of IT & Security, you will own SOC 2 Type II maintenance, GDPR/ISO governance, and collaborate with Product, Legal, and Engineering to embed security across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
• 20+ years in information security with 10+ in a senior leadership role.
• Proven SOC 2 Type II certification experience and GDPR/CCPA knowledge.
• Experience leading cloud security transformations and security in M&A contexts.

Responsibilities

• Define and own Cyncly's global cyber security strategy, roadmap, and operating model.
• Build and lead a globally distributed cyber security team with strong security culture.
• Advise senior leadership and represent security to customers, auditors, regulators, and Board.
• Establish and govern security policies, standards, and procedures with continuous improvement.
