Job summary

Wella Company seeks a Finance Director, Strategic Cost Management & Transformation in NYC with hybrid work. You will partner with the CFO/COO to drive productivity, cost transformation, and AI-enabled finance modernization across the enterprise.

You will lead a transformation office, oversee governance, and collaborate with senior leaders to align investments with growth priorities and performance targets. This is a high-visibility role shaping enterprise value creation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 12+ years of FP&A, corporate finance, strategic planning, business transformation, or enterprise performance management.
• Demonstrated success leading large-scale transformation, productivity, restructuring, or value creation programs in global organizations.
• Strong financial acumen across business case development, investment analysis, financial modeling, performance management, and executive decision support.
• Proven ability to influence senior executives, navigate ambiguity, and drive enterprise-wide change across functions and geographies.
• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead enterprise value creation framework, aligning productivity, margin expansion, and resource allocation priorities with strategic objectives and shareholder value creation.
• Identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that improve SG&A leverage, organizational effectiveness, and cost competitiveness across functions, markets, and business units.
• Use benchmarking and rigorous financial analysis to inform business cases, investment decisions, and benefits realization tracking.
• Lead transformation governance and programs focusing on operational excellence, digital enablement, and cost reduction.
• Own enterprise cost productivity across global cost base, planning processes, and executive reporting.
