Job summary

Raytheon Technologies seeks a Director, Global Contracts to lead international contract pursuits, proposals, and negotiations across the SBU Contracts and Strategy & International teams. The role emphasizes deep expertise in international contracting, compliance, and cross-functional leadership.

Hybrid work arrangement is offered, with relocation support and a US-based posting. A DoD secret clearance is required, and the candidate will interact with global stakeholders to shape contracting

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years’ experience.
• Experience in international contract proposal development and contract negotiations, including negotiating terms and conditions.
• Knowledge of ITAR FMS exemption and ITAR reporting processes; familiarity with FCPA and anti-bribery policies.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce international contracting compliance requirements across the business.
• Lead and develop Global SBU team to maintain international SME functional excellence.
• Shape opinions of stakeholders and balance priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Identify contracting issues when negotiating international contracts and provide proactive solutions.
• Develop best-practice tools, processes, and guidance for international contracting.
• Conduct targeted training in international contracting topics.
• Engage proactively with Global Industrialization, Treasury, Tax, Legal, and International teams.
• Travel to support SBU needs and international locations.
