Job summary

RTX is seeking a Director, Global Trade Licensing to lead the compliant execution of Raytheon’s GT program across functions. This role reports to the Senior Director, GT SBU and will supervise GT teams while partnering with Supply Chain Management, HR, Security and Contracts.

You will advise senior management on licensing challenges, oversee export authorizations, and collaborate on classification and advisory opinions. Travel up to 30% and ensure policy alignment while driving improvements.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree with 12+ years relevant experience.
• Experience leading GT compliance programs and teams.
• Subject matter expertise in ITAR and EAR.
• Experience advising senior leadership on technical issues of consequence.
• Experience with DECCS, SNAP-R, OCR EASE or similar systems.
• Experience interfacing with DoS/DDTC, DoC/BIS, DoD/DTSA on export licensing.
• Currently or previously designated an Empowered Official.

Responsibilities

• Act as a senior advisor to Vice Presidents of Functions and leadership teams.
• Evaluate GT program and drive enhancements; install sustaining GT controls.
• Manage and develop GT teams to foster compliance.
• Provide guidance on regulatory requirements to functional leaders.
• Contribute to refining the GT program as an active SBU Leadership member.
• Oversee export authorizations program lifecycle including reporting.
• Collaborate on commodity jurisdiction, classification, and advisory opinions.
• Ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Manage audit recommendations and corrective actions.
• Identify trends and risks to drive effective GT improvements.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 30% annually.
