Job summary

SEGA of America seeks an experienced Director of Consumer Products Licensing to shape and drive SEGA's licensed consumer products program in the West. This role will oversee SEGA's licensed consumer products business and execute go-to-market strategies for Transmedia West licensing initiatives.

Reporting to the VP of Licensing, Partnerships, and Location Based Experiences, the Director will manage 6 direct reports and a team of 12, collaborating with Brand Marketing, Lore, Community, Publishing

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in outbound consumer products licensing.
• 5+ years of management experience.
• Proven full P&L ownership with forecast and reporting oversight.
• Experience overseeing licensing agencies across the Americas and Europe.
• Mentor, lead and develop manager-level employees.

Responsibilities

• Drive annual revenue forecasts and monthly management forecasts.
• Develop global consumer products strategy to scale licensing revenue.
• Evaluate new business opportunities for Growth in Consumer Products.
• Oversee licensing strategy across Transmedia West including US & Canada.
• Collaborate with Brand Marketing, Lore, Community, Publishing and other teams.
• Manage relationships with global agency partners and ensure updates.
• Oversee licensing documents, NDAs, deal memos and contracts.
• Lead negotiations with licensees and vendors on terms and royalties.
