Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to lead the global close and consolidation processes. You will oversee the integrity of consolidated financial statements, drive consolidation improvements, and support acquisitions within a multinational platform.

You will partner with Finance, Reporting and Operations teams to ensure SOX compliance, effective internal controls, and robust reporting capabilities across geographies, while advancing transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance organizations.
• Significant experience overseeing global consolidations.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platform.
• Experience with acquisitions and ASC 805/ ASC 810 guidance.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements.
• Oversee ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, and intercompany eliminations in OneStream.
• Manage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting processes.
• Lead accounting close governance and coordinate activities across finance organizations.
• Establish close performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Support SOX compliance activities and management testing.
• Coordinate external audit requests related to consolidation and financial systems.
• Develop OneStream governance standards and platform roadmap.
• Lead financial integration activities for acquisitions and business combinations.
