Job summary

pfm is seeking a senior project leadership professional to drive cross-functional planning and governance for global clinical study programs. You will partner with project teams to ensure quality, scope, cost and timeliness align with program objectives.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years in clinical research with strong leadership, GCP/ICH knowledge, and superb communication. This remote role supports global initiatives and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in science/health field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years in clinical research with project management and leadership.
• Working knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and clinical development.

Responsibilities

• Lead collaboration among Project Directors/Managers for planning and governance of global projects.
• Provide leadership and oversight of clinical programs and, when needed, manage activities.
• Serve as primary sponsor escalation point beyond project management.
• Grow profitability of the PMO to meet or exceed budget targets.
• Assess and allocate resources to meet cost, time and quality goals.
• Recruit, develop and manage performance of project leadership staff.
• Provide guidance on scope, risk, and resource planning to PMs.
• Identify impacts to scope, schedule or budget and escalate appropriately.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
