Job summary

Worldwide Clinical Trials offers a remote-capable Executive Director, Project Management role to lead global clinical program delivery across therapeutic areas. You will shape strategy, drive performance and oversee a diverse, high-caliber team across multiple time zones.

You will collaborate with senior leadership to grow sponsor relationships, manage budgets, and ensure quality and compliance. Strong dementia program experience and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 12 years in global clinical pharma with at least 8 years in project management.
• Proven success leading staff in a global matrixed environment.
• Experience managing global Dementia programs and complex clinical research projects.
• Strong financial management and budgeting experience.
• Ability to build trusted client relationships and negotiate with sponsors.
• Fluency in English; local language skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide strategic direction to the Project Management team.
• Oversee delivery, financial performance, and operational execution of global projects.
• Drive project planning, performance monitoring, and adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Review strategy and costing of new business proposals while supporting growth.
• Partner with senior leadership on business development and client engagement.
• Build sponsor relationships and serve as a key contact for alliances.
• Lead reviews, identify issues, and maintain high client satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop staff and manage resource utilization.
• Represent Worldwide in capability presentations and client-facing activities.
