Job summary

Acadia Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Director of Clinical Development to lead global clinical development plans for neuropsychiatric and rare disease programs. You will shape strategies, collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and advance programs from early development through key milestones with clinical and scientific leadership.

You will work in a hybrid model with offices three days per week and travel domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent required; Board Certified/Eligible strongly preferred.
• Targeting 3 years of relevant medical/clinical practice, research, or academic experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience with medical monitoring, developing development plans and clinical studies.
• Experience across several development phases is strongly desired.
• Established relationships with thought leaders and investigators in depression and mood disorders.
• Experience in rare disease and/or neurology strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute global clinical development plans aligned with company vision.
• Oversee planning, implementation and interpretation of studies; develop protocols and final reports.
• Maintain relationships with investigators, thought leaders and centers of excellence.
• Interact with sites to support recruitment and study conduct quality.
• Communicate program issues and results to stakeholders.
• Support regulatory interactions and submissions.
