Job summary

V2X seeks a Director of Program Logistics to lead global aviation logistics for the DOS INL/A Worldwide Aviation Support Services program, based CONUS with Melbourne, FL as a base. The role oversees procurement, maintenance, and mission readiness while ensuring compliance and efficient execution across multiple locations.

The position requires a DS clearance and extensive aviation logistics experience; remote work is allowed with on-site visits as needed to support customers and program

Qualifications

• Minimum 20 years' logistics experience, with 5 years in a similar capacity and 15 years in aerospace/aviation.
• DAWIA or equivalent certification.
• Experience mentoring program managers and directors.
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or equivalent; tradeoff between education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct global aviation logistics and sustainment operations for DOS INL/A aircraft, equipment, parts, tools, and ground support assets.
• Manage all logistics, procurement and support services in a high-visibility international setting (multiple countries and locations).
• Determine logistic support sequences and time phasing.
• Anticipate logistics problems and determine contingency requirements and solutions.
• Lead daily supply chain, procurement, warehousing, transportation, inventory control, and maintenance-support coordination.
• Oversee logistics planning for aviation operations and maintenance to meet mission priorities.
