Job summary

V2X is seeking a highly experienced Program Executive Director to lead its U.S. Department of State INL/A Worldwide Aviation Support Services program.

You will oversee aviation operations, maintenance, logistics, safety, and contractor performance across CONUS and OCONUS locations, ensuring mission readiness and compliant execution. The role requires strategic leadership, extensive program management experience, and the ability to manage large, complex contracts while interfacing with senior

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of program management experience with a total of 20 years’ professional work experience.
• 7 years’ mixed rotary and fixed-wing fleet management and operation experience; 1,500 hours total flight time and regional familiarity.
• Experience planning, evaluating, directing, tracking, analyzing, and coordinating large, complex programs.
• Experience as manager of a cross-organizational program with >$20M total life-cycle costs.
• Experience mentoring program directors or managers.
• Active PMP or equivalent certification; Bachelor’s Degree or higher; DAWIA or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct enterprise‑level DOS INL/A aviation operations and maintenance programs across deployed locations.
• Lead integrated flight operations, maintenance, logistics, safety, and contractor performance functions.
• Oversee readiness reviews, maintenance priorities, mission schedules, and staffing to drive corrective actions.
• Manage program resources, budgets, manpower, aircraft utilization, and sustainment requirements.
• Ensure compliance with DOS, INL/A, FAA, OEM, host nation, safety, security, and contractual requirements.
• Advise senior government leadership on fleet health, mission execution, and risk mitigation.
