V2X invites applications for the position of Program Deputy Director for the U.S. Department of State (DoS) INL/A Worldwide Aviation Support Services program.

This permanent, full-time role is CONUS-based out of Melbourne, FL, with permissible remote work and periodic visits to customers and locations. The role directs enterprise-level aviation operations and maintenance programs, overseeing budgets, staffing, and aircraft utilization to meet mission readiness and compliance across multiple

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years of project management experience and a total of 18 years of professional work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of executive and senior management experience in business process development, process improvement, change management, project management, and leadership.
• Ten (10) years of progressive experience in aircraft and aircraft systems maintenance.
• Active FAA A&P certification or equivalent, and DAWIA or equivalent management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Direct enterprise-level DOS INL/A aviation operations and maintenance programs across deployed locations to sustain mission readiness.
• Lead integrated flight operations, maintenance, logistics, safety, quality, and contractor performance for uninterrupted mission support.
• Oversee readiness reviews, maintenance priorities, mission schedules, staffing, and supply to drive timely corrective actions and performance improvements.
• Manage budgets, manpower, aircraft utilization, and sustainment to meet cost, schedule, safety, readiness, and mission goals.
• Ensure compliance with DOS, INL/A, FAA, safety, and contract requirements with zero major safety violations.
