ICW Group in San Diego, CA seeks a Director of Applied AI Engineering to lead the design, deployment, and operation of generative and agentic AI across the enterprise. You will own AI Platforms, guide cross-functional teams, maintain engineering standards, and align with risk, governance, and product management to deliver production-grade AI solutions.

You'll oversee production support, capacity planning, research, and vendor evaluation, with a focus on responsible deployment, cost visibility,

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field; 10+ years in software/data engineering; leadership experience in AI
• Experience delivering production AI/ML solutions and operating AI platforms
• Knowledge of generative/agentic AI architectures, model deployment, and governance

Mansioni

• Lead design, development, and production delivery of generative and agentic AI solutions across the enterprise.
• Own AI Platforms including Bedrock services and model operations.
• Establish engineering standards, guardrails, testing, and documentation for AI development.
• Direct delivery models, team structure, capacity planning, and stakeholder commitments.
