Job summary

Bradsby Group seeks a Director-level Power Generation Developer to lead late-stage development and execution of utility-scale natural gas-fired and combined-cycle projects.

This senior role drives projects through permitting, financial close, construction readiness, and transition to operations, coordinating with engineering, construction, finance, legal, and external stakeholders to keep schedules and investment objectives aligned.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of power generation development/execution experience (gas-fired or CC)
• Experience leading late-stage development through financial close and project closeout
• Strong understanding of US power markets, ISOs/RTOs, permitting, and project development processes
• Experience managing EPCs, engineering firms, lenders, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Lead late-stage development of gas-fired and CC projects through financial close, construction readiness, and closeout.
• Oversee permitting, development agreements, land/title matters, and other critical requirements.
• Coordinate engineering, construction, procurement, finance, legal, and commercial teams.
• Manage relationships with utilities, regulators, consultants, lenders and other stakeholders.
• Support negotiation and execution of offtake and commercial agreements.
• Lead financial close and lender/investor diligence; manage third-party advisors.
• Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, milestones, and development activities.
• Identify and resolve issues to maintain momentum toward COD and closeout.
• Provide regular project updates and recommendations to senior leadership.
