Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services, Inc. company, seeks an experienced Director to lead the Gas Distribution division’s construction, maintenance, and repair operations across assigned markets. This role sets strategic direction, ensures safety and regulatory compliance, manages budgets and P&L performance, and builds strong client relationships.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX. Schedule: Mon-Fri with after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in gas distribution or utility operations, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing P&L, budgets, and multi-crew operations.
• Strong knowledge of PHMSA, DOT, OSHA regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Gas Distribution division's construction, maintenance, and repair operations within the region.
• Own P&L responsibility, budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve safety, quality, productivity, and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, DOT, OSHA, and applicable regulations and codes.
• Lead, mentor, and develop operations management and field crews.
• Support business development, including bidding, proposals, and contract negotiations.
