Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions is seeking an experienced Director to lead our Gas Distribution division’s construction, maintenance, and repair operations across assigned markets. You will own P&L, set strategic direction, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance, while building strong client and workforce relationships.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX; schedule: Mon-Fri with after-hours/emergency availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of gas distribution systems and industry standards.
• Proven track record managing P&L, budgets, and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Gas Distribution division's operations.
• Own P&L budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Develop and implement safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
• Ensure compliance with PHMSA, DOT, OSHA, and other regs.
• Lead and mentor operations leadership and field crews.
• Build relationships with clients and utility partners.
• Oversee staffing, equipment, and material planning for projects.
• Drive safety culture and reduce incident rates across crews.
• Support bids, proposals, and contract negotiations for gas work.
• Lead root-cause analysis and corrective action for incidents.
