Job summary

American Red Cross seeks a seasoned Fundraising Communications and Enablement Director to lead strategic donor communications for regional and national initiatives. This fully remote role can be located anywhere in the USA, offering mentorship and cross-functional collaboration.

You will drive messaging, case development, and innovative donor-focused resources while partnering with executives to align with growth objectives and organizational priorities.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• 5 years of management experience.
• Travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
