Job summary

American Red Cross is seeking a professional, innovative Fundraising Communications and Enablement Director for a fully remote role located anywhere in the USA. This position leads fundraising messaging, case development, and donor-focused campaigns at regional and national levels.

You will mentor a team, partner with senior executives, and drive cross-functional initiatives to advance fundraising goals and donor engagement. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• Management Experience: 5 years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop comprehensive communications plans for fundraising initiatives.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of communications professionals.
• Partner with senior executives to ensure consistent and effective messaging across initiatives.
• Utilize storytelling strategies to support and enhance fundraising efforts.
• Collaborate with national and regional marketing teams to develop and execute fundraising communications campaigns.
• Manage complex, large-scale projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
