Job summary

7-Eleven, Inc. seeks a Director of Fuel Supply & Optimization to lead fuel supply strategies across a growing convenience retail network. The role focuses on optimizing fuel procurement, supply economics, logistics, and supplier relationships to maximize profitability while ensuring reliable product availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in fuel supply, refined products, or commodity trading.
• Strong understanding of U.S. refined products markets, supply economics, and commercial strategy.
• Experience negotiating complex agreements and leading strategic initiatives.
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute market specific fuel supply strategies across U.S. markets.
• Analyze market conditions, supply and demand trends, pricing, and transportation economics to identify optimization opportunities.
• Drive supply chain efficiencies that reduce costs and improve fuel margins.
• Lead supplier relationships and support negotiation of fuel supply agreements and commercial contracts.
• Partner cross-functionally to execute strategic initiatives that enhance profitability and operational performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team while influencing stakeholders across the organization.
• Develop business cases, financial analyses, and executive recommendations to support strategic decisions.
