Responsibilities include analyzing market dynamics, forecasting fuel trends for decisions, and communicating insights weekly to stakeholders with a strong emphasis on data integrity and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Outlook) and SQL; Tableau and Power BI knowledge a plus.
• Petroleum industry knowledge and understanding of convenience store industry.
• Strong analytical decision-making abilities with effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Optimize profitability of fuel sales under volatile pricing/market conditions.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with performance metrics.
• Engage with other departments to provide insight into market performance and forecasts.
• Conduct tactical analysis using large data sets to understand trends, mitigate risks, identify opportunities.
• Track strategy initiatives to oversee success measures week over week; evaluate KPIs and document successes.
• Be subject matter expert on fuel; provide fuel projections for M&A and Real Estate.
• Communicate with store, field personnel, and management with urgency; provide financial recaps weekly.
• Drive Collaboration & Learning Culture within the pricing team; spread best practices.
• Troubleshoot integration issues; interface with fuel techs and store employees to identify solutions.
• Oversee data integrity of the fuel pricing systems.
• Take lead on various projects to propel the team toward initiatives.
• Be self-motivated to learn industry, systems, and market dynamics; maintain curiosity.
• Encourage data-driven debate to drive new approaches.
