KeHE Distributors, LLC seeks a seasoned Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance to lead FSQA across multiple facilities and contract manufacturers. You will shape strategy, ensure GFSI certifications, and drive regulatory compliance and product quality across internal and outsourced production.

You will manage audits, CAPA, risk, and continuous improvement, mentor teams, and collaborate with senior leadership, R&D, and procurement to safeguard brand integrity and consumer safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Safety, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in food safety and quality assurance, with at least 5 in a leadership role.
• Extensive knowledge of GFSI certifications (BRC, SQF, FSSC 22000, etc.) and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, FSMA).
• HACCP and PCQI certification required; GFSI auditor certification preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% of the time.

Responsabilités

• Lead FSQA across multiple internal facilities and contract manufacturers.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive FSQA strategy aligned with goals and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain and verify GFSI certifications across all facilities and partners.
• Oversee audits and CAPA activities; guide corrective actions and improvements.
• Develop and manage QA systems for internal and contract-manufactured products.
• Lead investigations and root-cause analyses for quality or safety issues.
