Job summary

CRH Americas Materials in Houston, TX seeks a Director of FP&A to lead end-to-end planning, forecasting, and analytics for the South Central Division. The role partners with Division leadership to drive revenue, margin, and capital decisions while building a high-performing FP&A team.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of finance experience, strong GAAP/SOX knowledge, and deep FP&A expertise, with SAP and Hyperion proficiency. Travel 10–25% and office-based in Houston.

Qualifications

• Commercial finance partner with strategic focus and influence at senior levels.
• Deep FP&A expertise including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Experience supporting P&L owners in complex, asset-intensive environments.
• Working knowledge of GAAP, internal controls, and SOX compliance.
• Strong data analytics orientation and proficiency with Excel/PowerPoint.
• ERP and EPM system experience; transformation and automation mindset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end FP&A processes for the South Central Division, including budgets, forecasts, and analytics.
• Provide strategic financial insights to influence revenue, margins, and capital allocation.
• Develop managerial reporting and presentations for division leadership.
• Lead a high-performing FP&A team with coaching and development.
• Collaborate with shared services and centers of excellence to optimize delivery.
• Drive digital analytics initiatives to improve planning efficiency and insight quality.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with corporate policies.
