Job summary

Gentherm Incorporated is seeking a Director, FP&A to lead strategic finance, P&L supervision, and forecast integrity across global functions. You will partner with Operations, Sales, and Supply chain to drive accurate revenue, costs, and profitability analytics.

You will consolidate inputs into a regional financial outlook, challenge assumptions, and deliver actionable insights to senior leadership. This role requires strong cross-functional leadership and a proven track record in manufacturing

Qualifications

• 10–12 years of progressive finance experience in FP&A, commercial finance, operations finance, or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics.
• Experience leading a complex revenue forecast and consolidating a full P&L in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong Excel skills and financial modeling.

Responsibilities

• Own the P&L Forecast, Budget, and long-range planning processes.
• Partner with Sales Finance, Operations Finance, Plants, Logistics, Procurement Finance, and business leaders to align assumptions for volume, mix, FX, inventory, pricing, tariff recoveries, mitigation plans, and operating performance.
• Pressure test and constructively challenge assumptions and forecasts from global functions and business teams; identify gaps, inconsistencies, risks, and opportunities.
• Oversee the Gentherm Technologies global OPEX budget and forecast, partnering with functional leaders to develop accurate headcount and spending plans.
• Partner with Program Management and the appropriate functional finance teams to ensure engineering revenue, program costs, and project spending are accurately reflected in forecasts and budgets.
• Consolidate the P&L forecast, integrating revenue, material costs, PPV, VAVE, variable manufacturing costs, fixed costs, and operating expenses while preserving clear functional ownership of the underlying inputs.
• Analyze and explain gross margin and P&L performance, including volume, price, mix, FX, tariffs, material costs, and operational drivers.
• Provide executive-level financial analysis, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver actionable recommendations to North America and global leadership.
• Define and maintain clear roles, responsibilities, handoffs, and operating mechanisms across FP&A, Sales Finance, Operations Finance, and business partners.
• Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy, reporting processes, financial controls, and business analytics while supporting a consistent FP&A structure across North America, Asia, and EMEA.
