Job summary

Petco seeks a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis - Promotional Strategy & Membership to lead financial governance for promotions, events, and membership programs. You will guide budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analyses while partnering with senior leaders across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce.

The role requires a senior FP&A background (10+ years) with leadership experience and retail exposure.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years in FP&A with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role; retail experience preferred.
Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
Proven ability to present analyses and recommendations to executives.
Experience in strategic planning, scenario analysis, and business cases.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leadership on promotions, events, and membership strategies.
Conduct complex analyses of promotions, membership, and clearance initiatives.
Set monthly/quarterly/annual targets for promotional spend and ROI.
Lead forecasting and budgeting for promotions, events, and discounts.
Ensure governance and reporting across promotional and membership activities.
Develop and supervise a high-performing FP&A team.
