Job summary

Petco is seeking a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis – Promotional Strategy & Membership to lead the financial strategy for promotions, events, and membership programs. This role partners with senior leaders across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce to drive ROI and governance.

The position manages budgeting, forecasting, and analysis for promotional spend, ensuring alignment with company targets and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
10+ years in FP&A with at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity; retail experience preferred.
Strong skills in financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead FP&A for promotional strategy, events, and membership programs.
Oversee monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for promotions, clearance, events, and membership.
Provide governance over promotional initiatives and ROI analyses for leadership.
Mentor and develop the FP&A team to drive performance and process improvements.
Collaborate with senior executives across Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, and eCommerce.
