The Andrew Carnegie Foundation is seeking a Director of Financial Planning, Analysis and Systems reporting to the Vice President, Chief Financial Officer. This position will lead the budget process by providing financial analysis and reports and oversee the processes, workflows and systems integration for the finance department.

The Director will drive financial system improvements, train users, and develop dashboards for the CFO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, data science or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance-related roles with leadership impact.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including Power Query, Power BI and VBA.
• Knowledge of accounting, grants management, and expense reporting systems preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review and document financial operations and processes; identify areas for development and streamline system workflows.
• Lead the research and implementation of new financial systems; train administrators and end-users.
• Lead the budget process: draft instructions, compile departments' data, prepare reports for the President and Committee.
• Provide departments with budget vs. actual reporting and coordinate with HR on compensation analyses.
• Prepare monthly payroll, benefits allocation, and investment allocation entries for Controller review.
• Develop financial models for long-range planning and scenario analysis.
