Boly:Welch is seeking a Director of Forensic Accounting & Fiduciary Services in Portland. Lead a seasoned team on sophisticated financial engagements, including fiduciary and court‑appointed matters, while mentoring staff and upholding engagement standards.

You will oversee accounting and tax professionals, liaise with attorneys and trustees, and ensure regulatory compliance across complex engagements, including insolvency‑related assignments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of direct accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• 3+ years at a Big 4 or nationwide CPA firm.
• MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Analysis.
• Experience in forensic accounting, litigation support, fraud investigations, or insolvency services preferred.
• Familiarity with bankruptcy, receivership, trust, estate, or court-appointed matters preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop a team of accounting and tax professionals across fiduciary and litigation support engagements.
• Oversee fiduciary and court‑appointed matters, ensure quality and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate financial findings to attorneys, courts, trustees, and stakeholders.
• Investigate discrepancies, reconstruct records, analyze cash flows, and prepare expert reports.
• Support tax filings, develop memoranda, and assist in business valuations and distressed assets.
