Job summary

CBIZ Advisory Services seeks a skilled accounting professional to serve as a trusted advisor to clients in a public accounting environment. You will manage engagement deliverables, supervise staff, and ensure timely, on-budget outcomes across financial statements, tax returns, and work papers.

You will develop client relationships, participate in meetings and proposals, and oversee budgeting, billing, and realization while mentoring junior staff and supporting practice development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in public accounting or related field with supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as client's trusted advisor and manage engagement deliverables with quality control.
• Lead staff on engagements, supervise reviews, and ensure on-time delivery and budget targets.
• Develop client relationships, participate in meetings, proposals, and cross-services.
• Oversee budgeting, billing, and realization for assigned clients, explaining variances.
• Mentor staff, foster teamwork, and participate in practice development activities.
