Job summary

Aon plc seeks a Director of Operations & Settlement Management to oversee end-to-end settlement and post-trade activities for fixed income capital markets and private placements. You will drive settlement execution for Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) offerings, coordinating with custodian banks, issuers, trustees, and market infrastructure to ensure accurate closing.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in broker-dealer operations, fixed income and/or equity capital markets operations, investment banking operations, or securities settlement.
• Direct experience supporting Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) offerings.
• Demonstrated expertise with DTC and Euroclear settlement processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead operational execution for debt fixed income offerings from mandate through closing.
• Coordinate all settlement activities with DTC, Euroclear, paying agents, trustees, legal counsel, issuers, and investors.
• Review and validate closing documentation, settlement instructions, funding flows, and allocation details.
• Oversee cash and securities settlement on closing dates.
• Maintain robust controls and regulatory compliance in post-trade operations.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations team and establish KPIs.
