Job summary

Aon seeks a Director of Operations & Settlement Management to oversee all operational, settlement, and post-trade activities for fixed income capital markets and private placements. Lead end-to-end settlement for Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) offerings and coordinate with DTC, Euroclear, trustees, issuers, and investors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience within broker-dealer operations, fixed income and/or equity capital markets operations, or securities settlement.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end settlement for Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) debt fixed income offerings from mandate through closing.
• Coordinate settlement activities with DTC, Euroclear, paying agents, trustees, issuers, and investors.
• Build and maintain robust operational controls surrounding transaction processing and settlement.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with SEC, FINRA, MSRB, and broker-dealer requirements.
• Oversee vendor relationships and technology enhancements to improve processing efficiency.
