Job summary

The Director of Operations & Settlement Management at Aon leads the end-to-end settlement for Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) debt offerings, coordinating with DTC, Euroclear, custodians, trustees, and investors to ensure accurate closing.

He/she builds robust operational controls, manages risk, and drives scalable processes across transactional and settlement activities in support of capital markets operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in broker-dealer operations or related fields.
• Direct experience supporting Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) offerings.
• Proven expertise with DTC and Euroclear settlement processes.
• Experience leading primary issuance and institutional distribution operations.
• Prior supervisory or team leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end settlement for Rule 144A and Section 4(a)(2) bond offerings.
• Coordinate with custodians, issuers, trustees, and market utilities to ensure timely settlement.
• Maintain robust controls, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead investor onboarding, settlement readiness, and recordkeeping of commitments.
• Build and lead a high-performing operations function with KPI-driven processes.
