Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in related field is required.
  • 3 years of experience in higher education programs focusing on academic advising, recruitment and retention.
  • Supervision of staff and/or teams preferred.
  • Knowledge of admissions, curriculum and degree requirements.
  • Knowledge of university programs and customer service techniques.
  • Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Directs advising for CFA undergraduate and graduate students.
  • Supervises advising staff and training; manages caseloads and best practice adoption.
  • Liaises with campus offices (Student Affairs, Director of Academic Advising, Dean of Students).
  • Coordinates orientation events and prospective student programming.
  • Maintains student records, reports, and degree completion data; analyzes information for reports.
  • Collaborates on student development, wellness, and post-graduation opportunities.
