A fast-growing organization is building its first dedicated P2P function, and this role will architect it from the ground up. The current environment is highly manual—no supplier portal, no PO process, no spend analytics, and slow vendor onboarding. This Director will define the automation roadmap, establish vendor data governance, build spend intelligence, and drive SOX-aligned AP controls.

What You'll Lead

• Build AP automation from scratch
• Cut vendor onboarding from 2 weeks to 3-5 days in Year 1;
• Launch spend analytics, category visibility, and vendor scorecards.
• Own AP accrual controls, audit readiness, and remediation of legacy gaps.
• Define vendor master data standards and governance.
• Set the strategic P2P vision (operations handled by AP Ops Manager).
