Job summary

Form Energy is seeking a Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to lead U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting, overseeing external filings and complex accounting assessments. This hybrid role supports cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Investor Relations, and FP&A across multiple offices.

You will manage SOX compliance, coordinate with auditors, and mentor a team of accounting professionals in a fast-paced environment focused on energy storage innovation.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license is strictly required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 4-5 years at a Big 4 or top-tier public accounting firm.
• Direct experience managing SEC reporting for a publicly traded company.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX 404 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead external financial reporting in compliance with SEC regulations (Forms 10-K/10-Q/8-K, Proxy).
• Oversee financial statements, footnotes, and MD&A preparation.
• Coordinate with Investor Relations and external filing agents for timely reporting.
