Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Director of Technical Accounting and Reporting for a growing renewable energy platform backed by private equity. You will lead technical accounting, GAAP reporting, and financial reporting processes as the internal U.S.

GAAP expert, guiding on acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and new structures. The ideal candidate is a CPA with Big Four/public accounting background, who can build scalable accounting policies, controls, and reporting infrastructure to support rapid

Qualifications

• BS in a related field.
• CPA license.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public Accounting experience at a big 4 or similar firm.
• Technical Accounting under U.S. GAAP.
• SOX 404.
• Project finance and tax equity structures.
• Renewables/renewable energy or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical accounting, GAAP reporting, and financial reporting processes.
• Advise on acquisitions, financings, joint ventures, and new commercial structures.
• Partner with Finance, Tax, Legal, and executive leadership.
• Build scalable accounting policies, controls, and reporting infrastructure as the organization grows.
